KNOCK TWICE: a prelude

The first short film released by the HOV Production House, Knock Twice: A Prelude is a thriller that tells the story of Miranda (Marissa Edwards); a wannabe starlet who stumbles into a psychic shop and makes a deal with a fortune teller (Dominick Gerard) for a 50/50 chance at making her dreams of fame and fortune a reality. Led down a rabbit hole, Miranda will have to fight to survive in order to escape the nightmare she thought would make her dreams come true. 



Go behind the scenes of filmmaking in this groundbreaking new reality-series following an ensemble cast of diverse artists joining forces to shoot a feature film under the HOV imprint. (in production)


The first Feature film produced by the HOV Production House, follows the story of a young couple expecting their first child who both become targets of a home invasion.





Behold The Thriller

Hosted by comedian Sampson McCormick with sounds curated by DJ DarJar, this immersive Film & Music pop-up; produced by the HOV Production House is designed to bring fans of black film & music together for a night of appreciation and celebration as we indulge in entertainment featuring black artists. The first event was held in Los Angeles, California in 2020 as a soft introduction to the company's opening of operations and the first installment of the Black Behold series.
